The Gallery at Ideation Orange – The Art of Community, May 2025

Presented as a fundraiser for WhyArts, this exhibition celebrated Iggy as a gifted ceramic and multimedia artist whose love of people, art, and creativity profoundly impacted his community.

In the Barbara Weitz Community Arts Building, Iggy is depicted in the background of this vibrant mural — honoring him as “a beloved WhyArts teaching artist who embodied the organization’s mission and whose legacy continues to inspire.”

This group exhibition featured two of Iggy’s playful, standing ceramic sculptures, showcasing his wit and craftsmanship.

A hardcover collection of Iggy’s Omaha-era works, featuring a new foreword by Mike Krainak and design by Shawn Bainbridge.

Iggy Legacy Studio

This is an initiative to maintain Iggy's Detroit studio as a working ceramic art studio available for studio assistants, artists friends, family, and others who found creativity, imagination, fun, companionship, and the creation of art in the studio.

Recent activities include clay creations and kiln firings, painting and fiber art space for local artist, visit from Sugar Hill Clay friends, friendship bracelet creations, Holiday crafts, gift wrapping, and more.

Two of Iggy’s vibrant sculptures are featured in the 2025 Benefit Art Auction at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts.

On view this fall: one of Iggy’s rare and iconic standing cigarette sculptures.
